Why, when you sit on the cushion
do you imagine yourself
becoming a Buddha?
If you can imagine yourself
becoming a Buddha, you
are not yet ready
to become a Buddha.
If you sit on the cushion
and imagine nothing
you grow ever more ready
to find what you no
longer seek so much.
