I always wanted to date a Bodhisattva
but despite my efforts I never did find one.
I did come across a goddess quite by accident
and it is possible she could become
a Bodhisattva but she is too interested
in worldly affairs to make the grade
and she is certain she is at least
two miracles short of sainthood.
If she did become a saint I wonder
what patronages are still available.
I don’t suppose there is a saint
of social media although some
in the field think themselves demigods
with sights on something much bigger.
I did find a woman who reads
and writes poetry and in this time
that comes close to a miracle,
and the way she cares for others
says I shouldn’t give up permanently
on finding a Bodhisattva just yet.
