There are many things
you will never hear a poet say:

I wanted to write a concrete poem
but every time I floated the idea
it immediately sank

I love occasional poetry
but I never have found
the occasion to write any

It is no wonder so many poets
are starving because all
they write is free verse

I thought of writing
confessional poetry but the priest
only wanted to hear my sins.
