They said that we only
wanted to tear things down, things
that they treasured, wanted to maintain.
That was only half true, because
we knew that to build what
was needed, you had to tear down
what was there that would not,
could not, be integrated.
We did tear down some
of those things they valued,
but we built things that were
better for the majority and that
was how it was supposed to be.
Now I look back and see that those
whose things we replaced have
begun to tear down all we built
and we lack the time, the energy
to begin our work again, so we
must leave it to you to deconstruct
what the few want so dearly
and build, again, for the many.
