Time travel has become
a standard trope of science fiction,
a protagonist going back in time
by intent or circumstance, fearful
to take any action for that
might change the universe
and the future as it would have been
collapses and is replaced by
something wholly different.
But this is where logic fails,
for the traveler from the future
cannot affect the future
or he could not be in the past
for the future from which he came
would never exist, and without
a starting point there can be no travel.
So dream all you wish about
traveling back in time, whether
to right a wrong or correct missteps
for that would run afoul of both
the laws of physics and karma.
