Sure things go wrong
at the worst possible moment
and that’s the half he got right.
What he didn’t say, didn’t know,
is that in our age of electronics
and planned obsolescence
things are perpetually going wrong,
so of course some will do so
at the worst possible moment
and others will simply cause
bad moments, but the only certainty
is it things will absolutely
go wrong, unless of course
you want them to do so.
